zzz_Community Project Advanced Technologies Scholarship

Community Project Advanced Technologies Scholarship awards up to $2500 per semester for students enrolled in either Industrial Technology (INT) or Welding Fabrication (WFT) program at CLC. Award directed toward tuition, fees, and/or living expenses. Number and amount of awards vary and are dependent upon current fund balance.

Eligible Criteria
Applicant must use scholarship funding toward enrollment in at least 8 credit hours of program specific courses within the Industrial Technology (INT) or Welding Fabrication Technology (WFT) programs and be a current resident of Lake County. There are no prerequisites for Welding (WFT) courses. Prerequisite or placement criteria may apply to INT courses. Award of up to $2500 for first semester and an additional $2500 for the second semester as long as applicant has a GPA of 2.0 in the INT or WFT courses. Additional points awarded to those who have a demonstrated financial need and live in North Chicago, Waukegan, or Zion.
