Honorary Sterling Scholarship

Honorary Sterling Scholarship provides a $500 award (in spring) to a student(s) enrolled in any plan of study at CLC who provides a writing piece. Amount and number of awards vary and are dependent upon current fund balance. Award directed toward tuition, fees, books, and other educational expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in any plan of study at CLC, have a GPA of 2.0, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must submit a writing piece (any genre). In honor of Alex Sterling, the award will be given to a writing that embodies overcoming pain/strife, while healing through writing action, along with writing excellence.
