Community Project Advanced Technologies Scholarship

Community Project Advanced Technologies Scholarship awards up to $2500 per semester for students enrolled in either Industrial Technology or Welding Fabrication program at CLC. Award directed toward tuition, fees, and/or living expenses. Number and amount of awards vary and are dependent upon current fund balance.

Eligible Criteria
Applicant must be enrolled in at least 8 credit hours of program specific courses (INT or WFT), demonstrate financial need, and be a current resident of Lake County.. Award of up to $2500 for first semester and an additional $2500 for the second semester as long as applicant has a GPA of 2.0 in the INT or WFT courses. Applicant must also have taken Basic Algebra Readiness, or College Reading and Writing Readiness OR placed DSP2 or higher on the CLC English Placement Test, or ELI Accuplacer score of 221, or ELI 103, ELI 104, or ELI 110 with a grade of “C” or better. Preference given to those who live in North Chicago, Waukegan, or Zion.
