Frances M. and Michael E. Heagney Memorial Scholarship

Frances M. and Michael E. Heagney Memorial Scholarship provides one $500 scholarship to student enrolled in Pre-Veterinary Medicine program at CLC AND one $500 scholarship to student enrolled in Hospitality and Culinary Management program at CLC. Amount and number of awards vary and are dependent upon current fund balance. Award directed toward tuition, fees, and books.

FAFSA required prior to awarding decision

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours in either Pre-Veterinary Medicine or Hospitality and Culinary Management program at CLC, have a GPA of at least 2.5, demonstrate financial need, a high school graduate or equivalent, and a current resident of Lake County. Preference given to students who are considered academic level of Sophomore (completed at least half of credits required for degree or certificate).

Scholarship recipient will need to provide thank you note including information on who they are, what type of classes they are taking and type of degree they are pursuing.
