Flor Coria Memorial Scholarship

Flor Coria Memorial Scholarship awards two $500 awards (1 in fall and 1 in spring) to a student(s) who is enrolled in any program at CLC. Award directed toward any educational cost. Number and amount of award(s) vary and are dependent upon the current fund balance.

This scholarship is in memory of a CLC employee, Flor Coria, who was determined to graduate and always encouraged others to pursue their dreams. She was very giving and compassionate and would love to know that this scholarship would be helping someone in need.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours within any plan at CLC, must demonstrate financial need, have a GPA of 2.0, a high school graduate or equivalent, and be a current resident of Lake County. (Preference given to student obtaining AAS degree, and those who are residents of Zion, Waukegan, or North Chicago).
