SPLASH: Scholarships Promoting Lake County Affordable and Sustainable Healthcare

SPLASH: Scholarships Promoting Lake County Affordable and Sustainable Healthcare – for students in the following healthcare programs (or intending to screen): Medical Imaging, Health and Wellness Promotion, Medical Assisting, Phlebotomy, Nursing (CNA & ADN), Dental Hygiene, Surgical Technology, Massage Therapy, and Health Information Technology. The grant covers both fall and spring tuition, up to 12 credit hours per semester, $144 per each credit hour, no course fees or variable tuition. A stipend for books and transportation may be issued based on availability of funds. Preference will be given to applicants from North Chicago, Waukegan, Zion and Round Lake, as well as other areas of Northern Lake County, and those individuals from diverse socio-cultural backgrounds. FAFSA is not required.

This scholarship is made possible by a generous grant from the Healthcare Foundation of Northern Lake County (HFNLC).
