Walleyes Unlimited Environmental Science Scholarship

Walleyes Unlimited Environmental Science Scholarship provides a $1000 award to a Lake County resident who is studying Earth/Environmental science or related plan of study at CLC. Amount and number of awards vary and are dependent upon current fund balance. Award directed toward any educational fees (including childcare and transportation).

Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours within in Earth or Environmental Science plan of study at CLC, have a GPA of 2.50, demonstrate financial need, high school graduate or equivalent, and be a current resident of Lake County.

Applicants will need to complete a personal essay statement that can include their work history, financial need, extracurricular activities that demonstrate leadership and /or outdoor activities, and any plans or ideas to improve the environment.
