Our Opportunities

Check out this video to learn more about our scholarships!

The College of Lake County scholarships consider students for awards using a holistic framework that may include, but is not limited to, academic achievement, extracurricular activities, field of study, and financial need. In an effort to make applying for scholarships as convenient as possible for our students, we have reduced the number of applications down to just TWO: the GENERAL application and the SUPPLEMENTAL application. The General Application contains a few essay questions, as well as questions about your enrollment and financial need. The Supplemental Application, contains seven additional questions. Once these two applications are completed, the scholarship coordinator and scholarship committees will sort your application through over 100 scholarship opportunities to find the best scholarship for you.

To begin applying to scholarships, please sign in with your CLC ID by clicking on the green “Sign In” button at the top right-hand corner of this page and complete the brief General Application.

• Required fields are marked with an asterisk.
• You can save your application to complete later by clicking Save and Keep Editing at the bottom of the form.
• Once the application is completed, you can submit your application by clicking Finish and Submit.

Based on your answers in the General Application, you may be directed to complete the additional Supplemental Application or answer specific scholarship questions for which you are eligible. Most of the scholarship opportunities are set up to “Auto Match” your responses from your application(s) to eligible criteria that match each scholarship. *Please note: Some scholarship opportunities are “Apply To”, which means that you must specifically “Apply To” that particular opportunity in order to be considered. For general scholarship information, scholarship cycle timelines, program and contact information please visit our CLC Scholarships page.

Deadlines for most scholarship opportunities is December 1, 2023. However, you will have the best opportunity for aid by applying early.

If you are looking for aid due to unexpected circumstances, click “Grant” under “Opportunities” above for the Lancer Emergency Assistance Fund application.
